thirstyAfter the big, big winning moments of Burkina Faso (2005), Vatican (2006) Germany by yours truly (2007), Ecuador (2008), and Venezuela (2009) in the years past... last December 22, 2011, a new country reigned supreme to become the newest, freshest, and not-so-bilasa queen!
This is the Miss PUSSY World International of the Universe: The Pageant!
Queens of the night, oh yeah! I was joined by Miss Ecuador Tantan T. in hosting
and welcoming the crowd into the night's festivities! Do you like my sexy metallic,
Malaysian princess get up? I made it myself via my old leggings, hooks, and fabric.
Party rock anthem. Rock glam divas Earl and Janlee lead the crowd in
singing a mash-up rendition of Lupang Hinirang and Star-spangled Banner!
A teasing teaser! I made this short intro VTR to make the audience
even more excited to meet the fabulous candidates! Kabog ang world map!
And now, the first segment is up... NATIONAL COSTUME!
Stomach in. Rica as MISS GREECE in her Grecian warrior princess ensemble,
and Martin as MISS IRAQ - evil and poisonous - gearing up for her biggest kill.
Short front, long back. Extravagant trains are in for Mikki as MISS ITALY
and AJ as MISS LEBANON! Who do you choose: The spartan or the angel?
Black is back! It's the classy chic look for Raffy as MISS SPAIN, the birthplace of
Zara, while Erick as MISS TANZANIA won over the crowd with her tansan accessories!
Then, we tested out their creativity and innovation skills via the next segment: WEAR YOUR OWN GROCERY ITEM!
Serving bodies! Miss Greece pretty in PAPER PLATES,
and Miss Iraq sooo dirrrty in her GARBAGE BAG skirt :)
Why not white? Miss Italy bleeding through her SANITARY NAPKIN bra,
and Miss Lebanon all bubbly and soap-sudded with her SABONG PANLABA.
Sari-sari store madness. Miss Spain, truly regal in her SACHET necklace,
and Miss Tanzania shakin' her booty with her fringed STRAW short skirt! Nice!
Parlor games. Siyempre one notch higher ang palaro ng mga
becks: BANANA SUCKING contest! Halftime happiness indeed!
Ayan, third round na... my favorite: CELEBRITY LOOK-A-LIKE!
Bright and beautiful. Miss Greece as VINA MORALES in her Enerva ad,
and Miss Iraq as the sick PRESIDENT GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO!
Diva off. Miss Italy as KATY PERRY, and Miss Lebanon as JOLINA MAGDANGAL!
Characters we love! Miss Spain as CRISTINE REYES in
No Other Woman, and Miss Tanzania as MARIMAR! Kabog!
Finally, ang pinakahihintay ng lahat: the EVENING GOWN competition!
Showstopper. Miss Ecuador 2008 showed the girls how evening gown
is really done! Tantan opens the segment in this jaw-dropping number!
Dramatic lengths. Miss Greece and Miss Iraq.
Surprising choices. Miss Italy and Miss Lebanon.
Fairytale midnight. Miss Spain and Miss Tanzania.
After the Q&A, the audience was simply too giddy to discover who will bag the crown...

Venus Raj. Look who dropped by to give Raffy her Miss Creamsilk award!

AND THE WINNER IS...
MISS TANZANIA. After being the first runner-up (kaloka) for the past five years
of Miss PUSSY, Erick finally had her winning moment! Congratulations, sis!
Her big prize: Custom-made gowns from Martin Bautista and Veejay Floresca!
BEST. NIGHT. EVER. We ended 2011 with a bang!
